Police taped off an area outside H&T Pawnbrokers after an attempted armed robbery on Bridge Street this morning (Thursday 27th June).
A group of three men entered the premises at around 10am and threatened staff before fleeing empty-handed.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Officers placed a cordon around the scene and are currently carrying out investigations.
