Residents have been invited to join the chairman of West Lindsey District Council in paying tribute to our armed forces next week.
As has been the custom for the past four years, the chairman will raise the flag to mark Armed Forces Day, which this year falls on Saturday 29th June.
Coun Irmgard Parrott has invite local residents and visitors to come together and witness the hoisting of the flag at the council’s offices in the Guildhall in Marshall’s Yard on Monday at 2.30pm.
Armed Forces Day was established in 2009 to honour the work and bravery of our troops, veterans, recruits and their families.
