Emergency crews were called to a property in Dinnington after reports of a person trying to take their own life yesterday (Thursday 16th May).
Fire crews from Maltby and Mosborough attended the house on Cramfit Crescent at 3pm where they had been alerted to a strong smell of gas coming from the building.
Crews ventilated the property and left the scene around 15 minutes later.
Police also attended the incident and the person was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
